Course Objectives The aim of the course is to explain the basic principles and techniques of financial management in healthcare organizations, and analysing the finance policies in these organizations. At the end of the course the students are expected to have information about the financial decision techniques and to apply these techniques in healthcare institutions.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To be able to understand the principles and techniques of financial management,
  • To be able to understand the process of financial decision making,
  • To be able to apply the financial techniques in healthcare institutions
Course Description The objectives of finance function in healthcare organizations and the basic principles of finance, types of financial decisions, financial analysis techniques, raising capital, working capital management, optimal capital structure and cost of capital, financial risk management.
